It was a great opportunity to learn more about both the Simcoe Hall Community Programs & Food Bank and the Dreams & Wishes Children's Charity.
The new kitchen looks fantastic and so much work, equipment, and time was donated by various sponsors to help make it happen. I was moved by Tiffany Kift's speech about how long they have been waiting to do this upgrade and how much it means to everyone involved.
The Simcoe Hall Settlement House has been supporting the community for over 90 years and the kitchen itself providing approximately 13,000 meals and snacks each year. The new kitchen will help them keep their community efforts going strong!
